Is counselling covered by insurance?

It depends on your extended health plan. Please call your insurance provider to ensure it covers a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I’m unable to direct bill but will provide you with receipts to submit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept VISA, MasterCard, Debit, e-transfer, cash, and cheque.

Is counselling confidential?

Yes, with a few exceptions. If you’re at imminent risk of harming yourself or others, if you’re operating a motor vehicle in an unsafe fashion, if your file is subpoenaed, or if I have any reason to believe a child or vulnerable adult is at risk of abuse or neglect, I have to break your confidentiality. Otherwise, everything you share with me will remain completely confidential.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes - reaching out is often the hardest part. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to all new clients to ensure we’re a good fit to work together. Please email to schedule.
